I’d like to take this opportunity to announce that I am now accepting requests for Portfolio Reviews to help my fellow photographers learn and grow in their craft. I get emails and Facebook messages on a daily basis asking me to look at photos of photograhers wanting an HONEST opinion – I know your friends and family tell you how pretty your photos are but do they KNOW what makes a GOOD image? Rest assured, I am gentle in my approach, but I am HONEST. I try to be as constructive and encouraging as possible without being negative.
The process is easy – pick your review package from below – upload your photos to a lightbox or album – email me the link with info on the processes you used to get the final result – I will review them and email you within in 7-10 days. I will include an emailed report with an overall assessment of your work along with an individual review of each photo.
I have been in the business of selling my images in some form, be it Stock Photos or Fine Art Photography, since 1989. I was the Editor & File Manager at a prestigious S CA Stock Photo Agency in the mid 90′s as well as the Editor for a regional Adventure Sports Magazine, I know what makes an image not only marketable, if that is your goal, but GOOD! At one point in the 90′s I had TEN world-wide Stock Photo agencies representing my work. I am down to 3 now…..and this is not the lucrative route it used to be. While I don’t dare to think that my work is technically perfect or otherwise I do know that I have had a very successful run at this business. It is a tough market out there and if I can help you hone your eye and GET REAL about your photography then I am here to help. When I was starting out in my photography career back in the late 80′s I had my images reviewed – at times it was hard to hear the truth but it made me aware of things that I needed to work on. I found it to be a very valuable service and I hope you will too!
My pricing structure is as follows:
5 photos reviewed: $49
10 photos reviewed: $95
15 photos reviewed: $145
20 photos reviewed: $195
All prepaid on PayPal…..so easy…just scroll down and pick your Review Program!
Ideally, I would like to be able to view the images online…either on your website or on Facebook as emailing big files is not the best solution….email would only be accepted for a review of 5 images and files would need to be reasonably sized (less than 1MB)…I really don’t need to see HUGE files to make an assessment or review the images. 15 minute phone follow ups are available for an additional charge of $35.
