Local Photographer kicks off art show season in Old Town Scottsdale
Weekly Artisan Markets begin on Halloween night
Scottsdale, Arizona – Local Fine Art Photographer Cheyenne L Rouse kicks off her art show season this Thursday evening in Old Town Scottsdale. The Artisan Markets occur twice weekly through May and are held on Thursday evenings from 5pm-10pm and Sundays from 10am-4pm on the bridge that spans the Scottsdale Waterfront. As a former Scottsdale gallery owner, Rouse now shows and sells her Fine Art Photography exclusively in her online gallery and at local art shows.
“Last year’s art show season was a huge success for me and I am hoping for the same this year with all of the out of town visitors we get to Scottsdale each winter” Rouse is known for depicting; “The Legend, the Lore and the Landscapes of the Great American Southwest” through her photographs and prints on many unique mediums like aluminum, canvas and fine art paper. Rouse also custom prints many pieces for her clients and her work hangs in collector’s homes and offices around the world.
Named a rising star on the Southwestern art scene by Phoenix Home & Garden Magazine this past March brought Rouse much attention and acclaim along with all of her other accomplishments. A professional photographer since 1989, Rouse also leads Photo Workshops & Tours throughout the Southwest. As a sponsored HDR Specialist for Photomatix HDR software, she holds “digital darkroom” classes teaching other photographers how to apply the artistic techniques and look that she achieves in her photographs.
“Cheyenne’s Land of the Ancients Photo Workshop in Moab, Utah is without a doubt the most amazing workshop I’ve ever taken. I took four of Cheyenne’s workshops this year and have an amazing new portfolio of images, from rusty trucks to amazing landscapes, not to mention a mastery of HDR photography from taking her online class. There is no question that Cheyenne knows the southwest, she chose locations that were so unique and beautiful with no crowds, which is not an easy thing to do in this region. I likely would have never found most of the locations we went to without signing up for her workshops. There is no doubt that this 4 day workshop will end up being one of the most exciting times of your life. ” – Ed H. – Houston, TX
