The love and appreciation of the outdoors was instilled early for Cheyenne. She was born and raised in sunny South Florida where she spent winters in The Keys and summers on the family farm in the mountains of North Carolina.

Cheyenne has been shooting stock and assignment photography since 1989, her areas of specialty include extreme & adventure sports, outdoor recreation and mountain lifestyles, health & fitness, mind/body/spirit, culture and scenic landscapes with a strong focus on the Mountain West and Desert Southwest. However, shooting trips to Florida and Hawaii occur frequently.

Cheyenne's photographs have been published worldwide in a variety of publications. Her impressive list of clients include: SUNSET, ROCK & ICE, SUBARU/DRIVE, OUTDOOR RESEARCH, U.S. POSTAL SERVICE, SIERRA, BACKROADS, GLOBE-PEQUOT PRESS, OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHER, OUTSIDE FAMILY VACATION GUIDE, WILD ROSES, 2002 CLIMBING MAGAZINE CALENDAR, ARTHUR FROMMER'S BUDGET TRAVEL and the list goes on.

Cheyenne's images are represented globally by top stock photography agencies, as well as marketing her own images. She is also a published author, writing many photo/text pieces for magazines such as; OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHER, PARK CITY TRAVELER, OUTDOOR & NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY and UTAH OUTDOORS. Her creativity and love of the outdoors has called her to put her words and photos in book form, she has co-authored a book entitled Camping: An Outdoor Action Guide (Western Publishing 1998) and she is presently working on her next book; A Utah Photo & Travel Guide.

In 1998 Cheyenne's love of the mountains and all of the beauty and adventure that they hold called her to relocate to Park City, Utah. Her images now reflect her passion and reverence for the mountains that she lives, works and plays in. When she is not climbing a mountain or hiking a rugged trail for a photo she finds silence and inspiration in yoga and meditation. With her images, Cheyenne hopes to inspire people to get out to the wild places and find their spirit through adventure, she certainly has!
