It’s fall and that means it’s ART SHOW season……and my 1st Art Show is…………….
It’s finally October and that can only mean two things; #1 – I survived another scorcher of a summer here in Scottsdale and #2 – art show season is here! My 1st show of the season is the prestigious Sunnyslopes Art Walk in Phoenix on October 12th, 2013 from 5PM-9PM – yes, that’s right, it’s just 4 hours but this is one “4 hours” you don’t want to miss! This is my 1st year getting juried into this very popular event and I am very exciting! I will be showing off some of my best works including this one of a kind 3D art piece, “Superstition Sunday”.
Back when I had my gallery in Scottsdale (2010 – 2012) I handcrafted only 2 of these unique pieces, one of which found a home with a collector in Texas. And this one is in need of a good an cacaring home although I have been very happy with how whimsical it has made my dining room look – but it’s time! Yes, this is a REAL 1964 VW Bug door that I have fashioned into a very unique frame for a Giclee photograph on canvas. I don’t show this piece often but this show warrants it – so be sure to come by and see this as well as many of my new metal, canvas and matted Fine Art Photographs. I made a short video about this unique 3D Art Series – click HERE to watch it.
Hope to see you there! My booth will be in the Marketplace at Central location. If you can’t make it to this show, I will also be showing and selling my work twice a week at the Artisans Market shows again this season, twice a week from Nov 2013 – April 2014. Shows are held on the Solari Bridge at The Waterfront in Old Town Scottsdale. I will be there on Thursday evenings from 5pm-10pm and Sundays from 10AM – 4PM – last year was a great year and I got to meet so many Facebook friends which is always a blast! Come down and say Howdy!
Happy fall – Cheyenne
