These are nice photos. It sounds like you have the bug of advenger. You can't get enough of the land out there. If you want to see some really nice photos of the Perry Mesa you should check out the Landscapes Legacies at DeerValley Rock Art Center. Photogragher: Pat Gorraiz. gorraiz.net. We have been out on the Perry Mesa many times and each time we see something new.
Happy exploring, Shirley :)

Dana - thank you so much for your kind words - it was my 1st trip into the Agua Fria and I loved it....I will be going back soon to add more photos to my "Agua Fria Collection". And yes, any of the photos that you see in the blog post can be ordered as a Fine Art Print....I will personally sign the print as well. Just let me know the title and I can let you know the print pricing. Also I do have a selection of 40 5x7 Matted/Signed photos in the Gift Shop here on my blog - just click <a href="http://www.cheyennerouse.com/matted-prints" title="Matted 5×7 Fine Art Photographs – FREE SHIPPING!" rel="nofollow">HERE</a> - you might see a photo in there that you like as well...although none of the Agua Fria photos are in there but like I said can easily be ordered!
Wow. I'm blown away. You've caught much of both the subtlety and drama of the Agua Fria National Monument. It's a land of extremes...flat mesas and steep canyons, dry uplands and lush rivers and streams, and delicate artifacts and rugged, unforgiving landscapes. It's one of the most important natural and cultural landscapes in the Southwest. You must keep shooting photos out there.

HI David – thank you for your email. Currently we don’t offer the class as a download – when you purchase the class you are instantly emailed your own personal access code that is good for 14 days – if you need more time simply contact me and I would be happy to add more time to your code. We have found that 14 days has been more than sufficient for our students to review the 43 minutes class/tutorial.

Thank you – please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Cheyenne, My friend, Vicki, and I are thinking about going to Utah this year. We went all through geology classes together (1986) and now we are both geologists and photographers. We went to Utah a few years ago and we really enjoyed it. I am not sure that we would be able to accommodate these dates. I see where you have custom workshops and tours. What would you charge to take the two of us to photograph here later on in the year? Or, you may know of some other awesome places to go visit. I have wanted to see the "Wave" area, part of the National Park. I understand that there is a dirt road that you can travel on that goes right up to it. I was there 2 years ago and bought a topo map and spoke with the Bureau of Land Management. We went to Antelope Canyon, what an amazing display of color. I know almost everyone has been there, but each individual sees differently. You mention hiking. How far does the vehicle take you into the area? How far do you have to hike in? I hate hiking, carrying gear, but I love photography. I love your photos, very classy.

Hi Cheyenne, After my daughter and I took a private lesson from you last summer, I developed a real passon for HDR photography. I have seen your photos from the White Sands area and always wanted to go there. Please include me in the class you have scheduled this summer. My wife is not a photographer, but would like to come along. If there is a charge for her to attend, what would that be?

Thanks,
Domoore

HI Terry - I use Photomatix as a standalone.....I also use Lightroom 3 but just have not implemented the "plug-in" feature yet. If you plan on using PS most of the time then get the bundle with the PS plug-in................... but of course that is a personal choice for your workflow....

thank you for purchasing my class....I hope you picked up some useful tools to help you on your HDR journey! ;)

Just purchased and viewed your HDR class. Thank you so much for this valuable learning tool! I can't wait to take some shots and try it.

Currently I'm using iphoto editing software on my MacBook. I want to purchase Adobe Photoshop CS5 (& possibly Lightroom). When I looked at purchasing the Photomatix software, I had a choice of standalone Photomatix or the bundled software with a Photoshop plugin. Which one will I need if I get Photoshop? It's confusing!

Thanks,
Terry

Ever since talking to you in Tucson when you spoke at the Jewish center last year I've followed you on Facebook etc. and love your work. I too enjoy HDR photography and use both Photomatrix and NIK HDRpro software. I'd planned on visiting White Sands on my own this year but your workshop looks like just the ticket for me, what with getting passes to get in early and late at the monument.
Take a look if you'd like at my website http://desertdreamingphotography and follow the link to Images to SmugMug. You might enjoy the Landscape section and the Electric Paintings of the Southwest.
Please consider including me in your workshop Aug. 1st and 2nd of 2012, this year.
